Adrian Wagnitz

General Manager

Construction and Service run deep in our General Manager’s blood as a third-generation qualified construction & services professional. Following in his grandfather and father’s footsteps, the Wagnitz name has been involved in construction in South Australia for over sixty years. With twenty-seven years’ experience in the industry, Adrian has spent the last fifteen years managing his own businesses.

As General Manager of FMS, Adrian is responsible for the day to day and financial operations of the business and shaping the company’s future path to sustained success.

Integrity forms the foundation Adrian lives by, a lesson which has been passed down through his family. FMS offers Adrian the platform to continue to contribute to both our clients’ and state of South Australia’s success.

Debra Owers

Office Manager

Although graduating with a degree in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry and working in both chemistry and microbiology, Debra’s strengths in organisation, attention to detail and efficiency have lent themselves to a successful career in administration.

Commencing with FMS Commercial as Service Administrator in 2017, Debra was pleased to move into the position of Office Manager in February 2019. Debra enjoys the varied nature of being Office Manager with every day presenting new challenges and rewards.

Debra believes that success in a business stems from its leaders and hopes to set a high example for others to follow.

Bijaya Joshi

Construction Manager

Bijaya (BJ) is a hardworking individual with a Nepalese background and an ability to speak four languages fluently. Following completion of an Engineering degree in 1988, BJ has gained more than two decades of experience within the Construction Industry in both Nepal and Australia. Some of the notable projects he has managed include SAHMRI, nRAH and the Adelaidean.

Sixteen years of experience in project management have lent themselves to BJ’s current role heading up the Construction Department. BJ has successfully developed and implemented new processes and procedures that both streamline projects and improve on efficiency.

BJ has successfully implemented what he believes are the four pillars required to build a successful project – Safety, Quality, Program and Finance.

Greg Shubin

Managing Director

In 2013, Greg co-founded FMS Commercial bringing with him thirty-five years of experience in the HVAC mechanical services industry. With an extensive list of major projects under his belt, including Skycity, UniSA Whyalla and 70 Franklin Street, Greg consistently delivers projects of outstanding quality. A natural leader, Greg enjoys managing staff and contractors ensuring the best possible outcomes are achieved for every client.

As Managing Director, Greg is responsible for the overall performance and leadership of the company’s operations and developing business opportunities. He also brings his expertise in engineering efficient and cost-effective HVAC solutions.

Greg’s philosophy is that in order to create the foundation for a healthy environment to live in, one must be honest, truthful, work hard and contribute to mankind. If we practice this, we will discover there are no short cuts in life.

Minglu Sun

Compliance Manager

Minglu joined FMS in September 2017 as compliance administrator bringing a wealth of local and international experience from industries such as machinery manufacturing , structural steel fabrication and construction. Her experience and knowledge has seen her move into the position of Compliance Manager overseeing FMS Commercial’s quality, safety and environmental processes which are externally certified. 

Minglu’s experience in quality assurance and compliance began in China, where she was charged with ensuring a heavy steel fabrication subcontractor working on a mining project in Mongolia understood, implemented and complied with relevant standards and technical specifications.  Other experience she brings to FMS includes the coordination and management of machinery manufacturing projects within QTM Certified ISO 9001 system as well as national and international compliance with licensing and legislative requirements pertaining to the machinery industry.

Locally, Minglu has worked as a project administrator/coordinator in the structural steel sector on iconic projects such as the Adelaide Convention Center Redevelopment Stage 2, Adelaide Oval East End Redevelopment and Osborne South Shipyard (B18). Throughout each project’s lifecycle she was able to challenge and strengthen her skill set by implementing a range of  performance, quality and safety management controls.

Minglu believes that there is always something new to learn and someone to learn from every day.

Simon O’reilly

Estimating Manager

Simon joined FMS Commercial in 2013 and quickly became a vital part of the FMS team. His career is founded on a solid background in practical and theoretical engineering. Simon commenced his formal training in 2008, completing an Advanced Diploma of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning followed by a three-year engineering Cadetship programme at a Tier One Mechanical Services contractor.

As Senior Estimator, Simon is responsible for generating compliant, competitive and comprehensive tender submissions. Simon excels at utilising both his problem-solving abilities and current industry data to help FMS secure and deliver technically challenging projects.

Simon is a firm believer in self-improvement and continued education, managing part-time study with his full-time role within FMS. Simon is nearing completion of a Construction Management & Economics bachelor’s degree with Honours.
